Co-founder and CEO, Wonnda
Martin Ditzel is the co-founder and CEO of Wonnda, the B2B sourcing platform for private label and contract manufacturing. Before Wonnda, Martin built and ran his own supplements brand, where sourcing was the single hardest part of the business. He spent months chasing the right contract manufacturer, evaluating MOQs, comparing certifications, and learning the gap between what suppliers say on a deck and what they can actually produce at scale. That experience shaped his thesis: the brand side of FMCG has been rebuilt around modern tooling, but the supply side, where most of the margin and risk lives, still runs on referrals and trade-show business cards. In 2019, Martin met Oliver Allmoslechner in Lisbon, where both were deep into software while carrying the same scar tissue from sourcing physical products. They started Wonnda to give brand and retail teams a structured way to find, qualify, and brief manufacturers across Europe. Martin leads product, growth, and the platform's long-term strategy. He writes about the economics of private label, what separates a good supplier match from a bad one, and how new brands and scaling brands should set up their sourcing operations to avoid the most expensive early mistakes.
