The Wonnda Story
A decade of conversations with manufacturers across Europe, and the same friction, again and again, is what led to Wonnda.
Wonnda’s story began in 2012, when co-founder Oliver Allmoslechner first experienced the realities of sourcing and contract manufacturing in Europe while working on a project with his father.
After visiting trade shows and meeting manufacturers across the region, one thing became clear: many high-quality private label manufacturers and contract manufacturers had little digital visibility, while brands lacked an efficient way to discover and connect with suppliers year-round.
In 2019, the co-founders Martin Ditzel and Oliver Allmoslechner first met in Lisbon while both were deep into coding. They quickly realised they had faced the same challenge, Martin had encountered similar friction when sourcing supplements for his own brand.
They began building a solution, launching the first version of Wonnda in 2021. The company was officially founded in 2022 with an initial network of 30 suppliers.
Today, thousands of brands and suppliers trust Wonnda. The platform supports brands and manufacturers across hundreds of product categories, with more than €15 million in sourcing requests published on the platform every month.

The first version of Wonnda goes live
After two years of building, the first version of the platform launches with a small group of early brands and manufacturers.
